Big Brother Africa: Botswana's Motamma and Ethiopia's Betty Evicted

After four weeks in the game, Botswana's Motamma and Ethiopia's Betty has been evicted from the house.
......................................................................

   Betty
        Motamma

The Ethiopian beauty, Betty, left behind four weeks in the Big Brother household, dreams to win the grand prize of USD 300,000, an infamous “sex act,” and a lover from Sierre Leone after it was revealed on the live eviction show that she would be kicked off the The Chase, on Sunday.

Betty and Sierre Leone’s Bolt hugged each other and kissed each other passionately for the last time on Big Brother Africa.  Bolt was visibly stunned by the news of his boo’s departure, but it seems life has gone back to normal for the man.

Perhaps seeking another confidant or just some intimacy, Bolt was seen getting comfortable with Malawi’s Fatima on the couch.

Outside the household, Betty will now have to come to terms with the backlash from vocal fans, whom some, were disgusted with her “sex act” with Bolt, which may have deterred her countrymen and women from voting for her.

Angola's Neyll and Biguesas Have Been Evicted from Big Brother Africa 8 (The Chase)

Angola's finest in the Big Brother The Chase, Biguesas(29) and Neyll(32) have been evicted after three weeks in the house making it a double tragedy following yesterday's game at Mandela National Stadium which they lost to Uganda by two goals.

It was the first time a Ugandan was evicted from the Big Brother house, the first time for Uganda as a country to be the first out of the game, but this evening, Angola equally made a record for itself. It was the first time that the two housemates from the same country were being evicted on the same day.

Biguesas had to give up on his banking job and university studies to audition for Big Brother Africa and luckily for him, he got to the house but only did 21 days of the required 91 to win the US$ 300,000. Fans from Angola were still getting to terms with the eviction of Biguesas, then came Neyll following in his steps as the sixth housemate to be evicted.

Angola's Neyll and Biguesas, Malawi's Natasha, Zimbabwe's Pokello and Kenya's booby Annabel were up for eviction but as expected, there was no way Angola's one vote could save two housemates who were up for eviction and in the end, the one vote could not save any of them just like Uganda's one vote could not save LK4.

Biguesas and Neyll have officially joined the list of evicted housemates who include Koketso for South Africa, LK4 from Uganda, Huddah Monroe from Kenya and Denzell from Uganda.

How Africa voted: Pokello got 8 votes, Annabel 4 votes, Natasha 2 votes and Neyll one vote. Biguesas got zero votes.

Uganda Bows Out Of Big Brother Africa (The chase): Lugudde and Denzel

LK4

It’s the end of the road for Uganda in The Big Brother Chase as Lugudde aka LK4 became the second and last Ugandan Housemate to be Evicted from The Big Brother Africa House. The first one to leave was the quirky Denzel who spent just one week in The Chase. Not that his countryman, LK4 did any better after being passed the baton.

Could LK4′s cockiness have cost him in the game? or was it his player tendencies which saw him double cross Nigeria’s Beverly and South Africa’s Koketso? Well, LK4 ended up being with Koketso who never left his side until they were Evicted together.

It was so embarassing when IK put LK4 on the spot about what he meant on Saturday night when he told Natasha that his mother had told him that he had to be close to Nigerians and South Africans in the House to make it through. The look he got from Koketso was simply priceless as it dawned to her that the Ugandan ‘prince’ could have been playing her all along.

Koketso’s Eviction means that South Africa’s hope lies with Angelo who hasn’t being doing much in the game either. Now that Angelo is the only South African left in The Chase, he will have to up his game and so should Kenya’s Annabel. The second Kenya Housemate, Huddah was Evicted alongside Denzel during the first Eviction Show leaving a huge load on Annabel’s shoulders.

Huddah and Denzel Evicted From Big Brother On Week One

On week one, Kenya's Huddah and Uganda's Denzel were the first housemates to be evicted from the Big Brother Africa house.

The two, who had been some of the most controversial housemates, seemed visibly upset that they were evicted. While Denzel was a bit more reserved with his emotions, Huddah could not hold back her shock at the initial announcement, and tears flowed freely from her eyes as she exited the house.

The two were noted for their distinct disdain for clothing, as they traipsed around the house with minimal clothing. Seemed that Africans did not take to those attention-seeking techniques. All the best to Huddah and Denzel in their future pursuits.

Big Brother Africa: Kenya’s “The Boss Lady” Huddah sent home

Kenya’s “The Boss Lady” Huddah has been sent home in the latest round of evictions in Big Brother Africa -The Chase, leaving Annabel as the only Kenyan in Africa’s most popular reality series.

Only one week into the 91-day stay, Huddah was evicted unceremoniously in Sunday’s live show.  Known for her strong personality, Huddah seemed to have few supporters in  and out of the households, as the eviction results have shown.

The distraught Huddah shared the same fate as Uganda’s Denzel, both were sent home extremely early on in The Chase.

     Participants (Housemates)

Early on in her stay Hazel became known as the house cook among her housemates even though according to a few of her housemates she had only mediocre cooking skills. Throughout her stay in the house Hazel became close with South African housemate Thami. She managed to avoid being nominated early on in the series (with exception of the fourth round of nominations) but towards the end of her stay in the Big brother house she was nominated three times in a row, during one of which she was up against Thami. Following Thami's eviction Hazel found herself outnumbered three-to-one and was nominated against Tawana in the final eviction of the season. To both her and Tawana's surprise Hazel survived.

2. Latoya Lyakurwa

21-year-old from Tanzania where she works as a secretary. She became the first evictee of Big brother Africa 3 on the 21st of September 2008 (Day 28). Latoya's stay in the Big Brother house was highlighted by her alternating of two male companions. She shared a bed with Ricco at night but was constantly seen attaching herself to Morris during the day. This led several housemates to remark how Latoya was "playing" both of them. Latoya stated several times, during a private conversation with Munya and while in the rubbish dump for a week with Tawana, that she did not care about how the guys were feeling as she was just having fun.

3. Lucille Naobes

21-year-old representative from Namibia. She became the second evictee of the show on the 28th of September 2008 (Day 35). Lucille was not initially nominated by the housemates for eviction, but ended up being placed for nomination by Takondwa who had been nominated but had Head of House privileges for that week, which meant he could replace himself with any of the housemate. The reason Takondwa gave was that he felt Lucille was the least likely housemate to get voted out by the viewers. Lucille stated in the post-eviction interview that she thought Takondwa was still suspecting her of stealing his cigarettes and that is the real reason he replaced himself with her. A highlight of the eviction was that Nigerian housemate Uti had a violent outburst when he learned that Lucille was to be evicted.

4. Wihelmina (Mimi) Abu-Andani

27-year-old representative from Ghana. She became the fifth evictee Big brother 3 Africa on 19 October 2008 (Day 56). She was notorious for her gossiping sessions with Ricco and Lucille. Towards the end of her stay Mimi was seen as overconfident, sometimes even cocky, by some of the viewers, as she stated many times that Africa would not vote her out.

5. Morris Mugisha

29-year-old representative from Uganda. He became the seventh evictee of Big brother Africa 3 on 2 November 2008 (Day 70).

6. Munyaradzi (Munya) Chidzonga

22-year-old representative from Zimbabwe. Munya finished in third place on the 23rd of November 2008 (Day 91). While in Finland Munya grew close to Finnish housemate Cheryll. Towards the end of his stay he became friends with Angolan housemate Ricco. Munya competed as a contestant in Big Brother Africa 5: All-Stars in which he lasted 91 days and was runner-up in the final. He spent a combined 182 days in the Big Brother house.

7. Ricardo (Ricco) Venancio

21-year-old representative from Angola. Ricco was declared the winner of Big brother 3 Africa on the 23rd of November 2008 (Day 91) after a close vote result between him and Hazel in which he received 38.80% to Hazels 38.60%. Early on his stay in the house Ricco found himself attracted to Tanzanian housemate Latoya. Towards the end of his stay he found himself attracted to Botswanan housemate Tawana, so much so that a night of drinking may or may not have led the two become closer. During his stay in the house Ricco also became friends with Munya as well as Mimi and Lucille.
